DEVI is a year-long, intensive immersion into the Das Mahāvidyās in community.
Through ritual, mantra japa, deep contemplation and inquiry, we invite these formidable and grace-filled forms of the Goddess into our lives and allow them to transform us. This program revolves around weekend immersions, with a weekly schedule of programs to support your Sadhana.
Devi Mahavidya Sadhana Immersion
February - December 2027
with Nataraj Chaitanya
An immersive year of mantra, meditation, ritual, study and self-inquiry within the living traditions of Śaiva-Śākta Tantra.
Devī, the Goddess, is the power behind all life. She is tender wisdom, fierce grace and wild mercy.
The Mahāvidyās, the Ten Tantric Wisdom Goddesses, reveal ten faces of the sacred: beauty and terror, desire and renunciation, abundance and emptiness, speech and silence, creation and dissolution.
Join us in community for a year of intensive sādhana.

SESSION TIMES

Each month of Devi 2027 centers around an immersive weekend dedicated to one of the Mahāvidyās.
Friday Evening · 6:30–9:00pm
We enter the practice through abhiṣeka, kīrtan, and an introduction to the Goddess. The mantra of the Mahāvidyā is introduced and initiated, beginning the next cycle of sādhana.
Saturday · 11:00am–5:00pm
A full day of teaching, practice, study and contemplation. We explore the theology and symbolism of the Mahāvidyā alongside japa, meditation, selected dhāraṇās and upāyas, kīrtan, inquiry, and the themes and observances that will shape the month ahead.
Sunday · 11:00am–1:00pm
The weekend culminates in fire ceremony, japa, meditation, darśan, prasād, lunch, and time together in community.
But the sādhana does not end with the weekend.
Throughout each month students are held through:
* a monthly self-inquiry group integrated into our regular Shiva Process night
* a weekly Mahāvidyā Stotram, Kavacam and japa session, including Q&A, sharing and debrief
* ongoing access to the Śaiva study group for scriptural grounding and the balancing current of Śiva
* mentor and faculty support throughout the practice cycle
* Connection to a vibrant and diverse ashram community of practitioners and the calendar of events honoring the Vedic festivals, full and new moons.
